Ube ("OO-beh") Anti-Brass Shampoo Bar

 
The Ube Shampoo Bar (pronounced “OO-beh”) is an anti-brass violet shampoo formulated for blondes and silver foxes. What makes this purple shampoo bar unique is that it has a similar purpose as the Hibiscus Quinoa Shampoo Bar (for repair) with the added bonus of a violet hue to get rid of yellow tones. We understand that if you’re blonde, you probably have some damage to repair, and if you’re a silver fox, your hair might need a bit of extra moisture and protein. See? Purple shampoo doesn’t have to be drying!
 
Mango butter seals in moisture and reduces breakage by strengthening the hair follicles, while soothing the scalp. Mango butter contains vitamin C which helps the body create collagen to support our skin and hair, along with blocking free radicals. Mango butter also contains vitamin E and A for some extra moisture. 
 
Potato starch consists of various vitamins known to increase oxygen levels which work to repair and restore collagen. Potato also helps activate healthy scalp cells which encourages growth and unblocks pores on the scalp. Potato starch also makes for a gentler cleanse in this shampoo bar.
 
Oat protein helps retain and adds moisture to the hair and scalp and helps soften and smooth the hair follicles. Oat is also an ingredient known to help relieve itching and irritation. Oat protein forms a coating on the outside layer of the hair strand to lock moisture in.
 
Panthenol (provitamin B5) helps strengthen hair, retain moisture, and helps improve texture of damaged hair, leaving your hair feeling soft and shiny.
 
So, yes. You can have purple shampoo and have it feel nice too. Add this bar to your rotation or use it for every wash. For best results, leave on hair for 2-5 minutes after lathering for the  violet tone to absorb.
